UHMA Mission Statement

UHMA is the UK trade association for all forms of radiant floor and wall heating and cooling. Its objectives are:

1. To set and enforce standards of technical excellence for materials used, design and installation.

2. To provide a forum for the exchange of technical expertise and experience between organizations in the industry.

3. To initiate and disseminate the results of research into technical aspects of UFH.

4. To promote awareness of underfloor heating and cooling in the UK and to provide information to other professionals within the building industry.

The Association is affiliated with EURAY the Pan-European Association for radiant floor heating and cooling. Information is exchanged on regular basis between EURAY's members to ensure uniform high standards throughout Europe.

UHMA's Membership comprises companies, which specialize in the design and supply of UFH systems and components, whether direct to the end user of through professional intermediaries such as builder's merchants. Some Members may also offer an installation service.

Honorary membership is open to individuals with a proven record in the technical advancement of UFH.
