KEY CONFERENCE ANNOUNCED
UHMA SHARES THE LOW CARBON VISION
With its target of an 80% reduction in carbon emissions by 2050 the UK is leading the way to a greener future. Just what that future might be like and how the target could be met will be the theme of 20/20 Vision – 2050 Comes Into Focus.
UHMA has agreed to support this important conference organized by the Heating and Hot Water Industry Council (HHIC).
Scheduled to be held at the Royal College of Physicians in London’s Regents Park on Thursday October 15th this year, 20/20 Vision will be an important diary date for everyone concerned with the construction industry’s role in building a sustainable future.
The morning sessions will see leading speakers from across the social, economic, political and technological spectrum helping to build up a picture of life in 2020 – a key stage in the carbon reduction programme when emissions should be 34% lower than 1990 .
After lunch a panel of key opinion formers will debate with an informed audience the still greater ambitions for 2050.
