UHMA EXHIBITION PROGRAMME GETS UNDER WAY

UHMA has fired the opening shot in its most ambitious publicity campaign to date with the display mounted at the two day HEVAR Show in Manchester in February.

Experts from within the Association and other leading industry bodies also presented a detailed overview of the role of underfloor heating in the 21st Century in the UK’s first ever major seminar on this technology.

Now the focus moves to the domestic sector with UHMA taking a stand at the PHEX series of shows, aimed at the professional heating engineer and installer.

Announcing the programme UHMA Chairman Chris Ingram stressed importance of communication in a fast changing world.

“Underfloor heating is now recognised as delivering significant energy and carbon-emissions savings compared to any other form of heat emitter.

This is true of both existing condensing boilers and the renewables – solar power, biomass, heat pumps and perhaps technologies yet to come – that will provide the heat for the homes, offices and factories of the latter 21st Century.

Underfloor heating will make a vital contribution to the Government’s Renewable Heat Incentive scheme.

Participation in PHEX and other leading trade shows gives us an opportunity to exchange information with installers and other professionals – a vital process in building the kind of “joined up” industry that can cope with future demand”
